विजय कुमार के मुताबिक, अगले नाके पर भी हमने फायरिंग की लेकिन क्योंकि वहां पर अंधेरा था, तो इसलिए वहां से भाग गया. इसके बाद हमने गाड़ी को जब्त किया और उसकी चेकिंग की, जिसमें भारी मात्रा में IED मिली थी. हमारी टीम ने IED को चेक किया और उसे डिफ्यूज़ किया. इसके पीछे एक बड़े हमले की साजिश थी, जिसे नाकाम किया गया. उन्होंने बताया कि ये लोग पिछले काफी दिनों से इस साजिश में लगे थे, लेकिन पहले ये नहीं कर पाए. इसलिए अब ट्राइ कर रहे थे, लेकिन हमने इन्हें नाकाम किया. उन्होंने कहा कि ये लोग किसी भी पुलिस या सुरक्षाबलों की टीम को टारगेट कर सकते थे. गाड़ी में करीब 40-45 किलो. तक विस्फोटक था, जिसे डिफ्यूज किया गया।
