इस बारे में श्री रेड्डी ने कहा, कि कोरोना का एक पॉजिटिव केस आने के बाद से पिछले एक सप्ताह से चिरमिरी का मुख्य व्यापारिक हृदयस्थल हल्दीबाड़ी कंटेन्मेंट जोन में है, जिसके कारण न सिर्फ हल्दीबाड़ी की सीमाओं को सील किया गया है बल्कि यहां की सभी व्यावसायिक गतिविधियों के साथ ही आवागमन भी पूरी तरह से प्रतिबंधित है। इस प्रतिबंध के कारण हल्दीबाड़ी के निवासियों को दैनिक जरूरत की चीजो, पानी, दूध, दवा, सब्जी को भी प्राप्त करने के लिए भारी मशक्कत करना पड़ रहा है । हालांकि प्रशासन ने सभी आवश्यक वस्तुओं की आपूर्ति के लिए ऑन लाइन सेवा प्रारम्भ की है, लेकिन इन सेवाओं को देखने वाले अधिकारियों के ऊपर अन्य काफी जिम्मेदारियां होने के कारण वे इसका संचालन सुचारू रुप से नही कर पा रहे हैं, जिसका खामियाजा आम आदमी को भुगतना पड़ रहा है और लोग अपने समस्याओं से बाहर नहीं निकल पा रहे हैं। इसके साथ ही इंडेन गैस का आफिस व गोदाम कंटेन्मेंट जोन में पड़ने के कारण हल्दीबाड़ी के साथ ही अन्य कालरी क्षेत्रो में इंडेन गैस की आपूर्ति नही हो पा रही है, जो गम्भीर चिंता का विषय है।
श्री रेड्डी ने उपरोक्त समस्याओं के हल के लिए स्वयं वालिंटियर के रूप में काम करने की इच्छा जताते हुए कोरिया कलेक्टर डोमन सिंह से इस बाबत अनुमति प्रदान करने की मांग करते हुए कहा है कि यदि जिला प्रशासन अनुमति मांगा है कि वे टेलीफोन के माध्यम से लोगो की समस्याएं लेकर उन्हें प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों तक पहुँचाकर समस्याओं के निराकरण का सार्थक प्रयास करने के दिशा में प्रशासनिक कर्मचारी एवं अधिकारियों के साथ-साथ एक अच्छा नागरिक होने का अपना फर्ज निभाना चाहते हैं, क्योंकि ऐसे कठिन समय मे केवल सरकार तथा सरकारी एजेंसियों पर ही निर्भर रह कर केवल आरोप लगाने या कमियाँ खोजने से काम नहीं चलेगा, बल्कि हमें भी अपने मातृभूमि एवं राष्ट्रहित में अपने – अपने स्तर पर अपनी सहभागिता निभानी होगी। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि कोरोना महामारी के इस समय मे देश संकट में है, ऐसे में फेसबुकिया ज्ञान बाटने के बजाय कुछ सेवा हम सबको भी करने की आवश्यकता है, जिससे कि इस कठिन समय में एक सकारात्मक और एकजुटता वाले भावना का संदेश प्रसारित हो सके, ताकि लोगों में डर नहीं बल्कि इस कठिनाई को सहने और आगे बढ़ने का साहस बने। जो हमें एक सम्बल देगा, जो समाज और राष्ट्र को आगे बढ़ाने का कारगर पहल होगा।
