गरियाबंद– पुलिस ने अंतरराज्यीय 2 हीरा तस्करों को गिरफ्तार किया है। उनके पास से करीब 20 लाख रुपए कीमत के 125 नग हीरे बरामद कार्रवाई कर रही है।
मामले का खुलासा करते हुए पुलिस अधीक्षक भोजराम पटेल ने बताया, कि छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य में पहली बार 125 नग हीरा कीमती लगभग 20 लाख रूपये हीरा तस्करों से जप्त कर कार्यवाही की गई है। पूर्व में 02 हीरा तस्कारों से 56 नग हीरा जप्त कर आरोपियों को जेल दाखिल किया गया है।
पुलिस को मुखबीर से सूचना प्राप्त हुई, कि ग्राम जाडापदर के मोबाईल टावर के सामने एक लाल रंग के सुपर स्प्लेन्डर क्रमांक ओ डी 26-4997 में दो व्यक्ति अपने पास रखे हीरा को बेचने के फिराक में घुमकर ग्राहक का इंतजार कर रहा है। मुखबीर से सूचना प्राप्त होने पर थाना प्रभारी मैनपुर को टीम गठित कर कार्यवाही हेतु निर्देश दी गई। जिस पर थाना प्रभारी मैनपुर उप निरीक्षक भूषण चन्द्राकर द्वारा घेराबंदी कर पकड़ा गया। आरोपियों से तलाशी लेने पर 125 नग हीरा मिला। आरोपियों से पुछताछ करने पर कोई वैध कागजात प्रस्तुत नही किये। जिस पर आरोपियों के विरूद्ध थाना मैनपुर में अपराध क्रमांक 35/2020 धारा 379, 34 भादवि, 4(21) माइनिंग एक्ट दर्ज कर आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। आरोपियों से प्राप्त 125 नग हीरा, 3 मोबाईल एवं प्रयुक्त दोपहिया वाहन को जप्त किया गया, और धारा 379, 34 भादवि, 4(21) माइनिंग एक्ट के तहत कार्रवाई की गई है।
