नई दिल्ली– मौसम विभाग ने अगले 24 घंटों में चक्रवाती तूफान (Cyclone Amphan) आने की आशंका जताई है. इसके चलते पश्चिम बंगाल और ओडिशा के कई इलाकों में भारी बारिश की चेतावनी दी है. इस तूफान के कारण ओडिशा, पश्चिम बंगाल, मेघालय समेत 8 राज्यों में अलर्ट है. इस तूफान को एमफन (Cyclone Amphan,) नाम दिया गया है. बंगाल की खाड़ी के दक्षिण पूर्व में सुबह 5 बजकर 30 मिनट पर कम दबाव का एक क्षेत्र देखा गया. ये अगले 24 घंटों में तूफान का रूप ले सकता है।

मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक संभावित कम दबाव का क्षेत्र उत्तर-उत्तर पूर्व दिशा में घूमते हुए अपने रास्ते पर लौटेगा और बंगाल की खाड़ी की ओर मुड़ेगा.
छत्तीसगढ़ में भी रहेगा असर
मौसम वैज्ञानिकों के मुताबिक अंडमान सागर से सक्रिय ये तूफान 18 से 20 मई तक बहुत तीव्र होकर छत्तीसगढ़ के समानांतर गुजरते हुए पश्चिम बंगाल और ओडिशा के बीच टकराएगा। इसका पहला असर दक्षिण छत्तीसगढ़ में होगा। 22 मई तक इसका प्रभाव पूरे छत्तीसगढ़ में होगा। इस दौरान 40 से 50 किमी की रफ़्तार से हवा चलेगी और अधिकांश जगहों में बारिश होगी। हालांकि इसका सबसे खराब असर पश्चिम बंगाल, झारखंड और ओडिशा राज्यों पर पड़ेगा।
इस संबंध में रायपुर लालपुर मौसम केंद्र के मौसम विज्ञानी एचपी चंद्रा ने बताया कि- एम्फन के असर से बस्तर के इलाकों में बारिश के आसार है। इसका असर 17, 18 और 19 मई तक रहेगा। रायपुर में इसके असर से बादल छाए रहेंगे।
