कांग्रेस नेता को पेट्रोल डालकर जलाने का प्रयास, आरोपी भांजा गिरफ्तार
बिलासपुर– कांग्रेस नेता पर उसी के भांजे ने पेट्रोल डालकर आग लगाने का प्रयास किया, मामला पुरानी रंजिश का है। कांग्रेस नेता भागकर जान बचाई, और शिकायत थाने में दर्ज की। पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ हत्या के प्रयास का मामला दर्ज कर आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।
तोरवा पुलिस के मुताबिक दयालबंद निवासी कांग्रेस नेता ओमप्रकाश गंगोत्री ने देवरीखुर्द में 2 दुकानों को किराये पर दिया है, 31 दिसंबर शाम वे कार से किराया लेने गए थे, और देवरीखुर्द के पूर्व सरपंच मनिहार निषाद से कार में बैठे-बैठे बातें करने लगे। इसी समय उनका भांजा संजय हंस बोतल में पेट्रोल लेकर पहुंचा, और नेतागीरी कर देवरीखुर्द का माहौल बिगाडने का आरोप लगाते हुए, ओमप्रकाश पर पेट्रोल डाल दिया, और जेब से माचिस निकालने लगा, तो ओम प्रकाश ने उसे धक्का मारा और कार से बाहर निकलकर भागकर अपनी जान बचाई। ओमप्रकाश ने तोरवा थाने में रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई, पुलिस ने संजय के खिलाफ धारा 307 के तहत अपराध दर्ज कर उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।
ओमप्रकाश और संजय के परिवार के बीच 1993 से विवाद चला आ रहा है। जिसके चलते उसने उसे जलाने का प्रयास किया।
