बिलासपुर– कहते हैं, हर तस्वीर बोलती है, मतगणना के दिन की इस तस्वीर के आप कई मायने निकाल सकते हैं। शायद विजय केशरवानी किशोर राय से मेयर बनने के गुर पूछ रहे हों। मतगणना के दिन विजय केशरवानी अपनी काउंटिंग से ज्यादा पूरे निगम क्षेत्र में कांग्रेसी पार्षदों की संख्या पर ध्यान दे रहे थे। शायद उन्हें खुद पर पूरा यकीन था, कि निगम में कांग्रेस की सरकार बनने पर मेयर वे ही बनेंगे, शहर के कुछ लोगों को भी ऐसा ही लगा, कि लॉबिंग करने में माहिर विजय मेयर की रेस में विजय पा लेंगे।

अब देव आनंद साहब के “गाइड” फ़िल्म का एक फेमस गीत..”क्या से क्या हो गया, बेवफा तेरे प्यार में….” ये गीत इसलिए, क्योंकि ये बिलासपुर नगर निगम के चुनाव में वार्ड 52 से लड़ने वाले कांग्रेस के जिलाध्यक्ष विजय केशरवानी पर फिट बैठ रहा है। विजय केशरवानी ने मेयर बनने का सपना देख, वार्ड 52 के कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी के रूप में चुनाव लड़ा.. यहां भी उनकी राह आसान नहीं रही, पहले उस क्षेत्र के कांग्रेसी दिलीप पाटिल को साधना पड़ा, लाखों खर्च किये..लिहाजा वे बड़े अंतर से चुनाव जीत गए, इसके बाद शुरू हुई मेयर की दौड़….इसके लिए उन्होंने शहर के कई नेताओं और पार्षदों की लॉबिंग की, लेकिन हुआ कुछ और…
