रायपुर– लॉकडाउन के दौरान राजधानी में हॉटस्टार एप के कस्टमर केयर में कॉल करना युवक को महंगा पड़ गया, 2 लाख रुपयों से भी महँगा पड़ गया।
मामले की जानकारी देते हुए गुढ़ियारी थाना प्रभारी रविशंकर तिवारी ने बताया, कि रामनगर निवासी अनुज सोनी ने 18 अप्रैल को गूगल से सर्च कर हॉट-स्टार एप के कस्टमर केयर पर कॉल कर 1 साल के रिचार्ज को कम्पनी द्वारा 6 महीने में ही बंद कर देने की बात कही, जिस पर अज्ञात मोबाइल धारक ने प्लान एक्टिवेट करने अनुज के बैंक खाता से लिंक मोबाइल नं के आखरी 4 अंक पूछे व मोबाइल पर भेजे गए OTP की भी जानकारी मांगी, जिसके 3 दिन पश्चात से ही निरंतर अनुज के इंडियन बैंक खाते से 5 दिनों तक राशि निकाली गई।
प्रार्थी की शिकायत पर आवेदन को जांच के लिए साइबर सेल भेजा गया था, जहां से दो अज्ञात मोबाइल धारकों की पहचान मजीद गाज़ी व मो.सद्दाम हुसैन के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ IPC की धारा 420,34 के तहत अपराध पंजीबद्ध कर लिया है। कुल 2 लाख 4 हज़ार रुपयों का ऑनलाइन फ्रॉड प्रार्थी अनुज सोनी के साथ हुआ है।
थाना प्रभारी गुढ़ियारी ने सभी को सावधान रहने व किसी भी व्यक्ति से अपने मोबाइल पर आए OTP को ना शेयर करने की समझाइश दी है।
